The Winlock Student Community Advocates (WSCA), a nonprofit organization, will host a fundraiser auction event at 6 p.m. on April 18 to support Winlock Schools by creating a scholarship fund.
The scholarship fund is being launched by WSCA to assist Winlock High School students taking a less traditional route to post-graduation life, such as trade schools or costs associated with entering the workforce.
The scholarship fundraiser will be held at the Winlock Olequa Senior Center and will have appetizers, dessert and live music, along with the auction to raise funds.
Tickets, which cost $25, must be purchased by April 10. Tickets are available at https://tinyurl.com/3nbfyvrs.
