CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Theft
• A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Susan Street just after 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 26.
• A 34-year-old Shelton man was arrested for stealing a $200 speaker from a business in the 1200 block of Lum Road at 4:10 p.m. on Feb. 26.
• Two subjects reportedly stole Neosporin from a store in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue just after 5:20 p.m. on Feb. 26. The case is under investigation.
Harassment
• At 9:10 a.m. on Feb. 26, a citizen in the 100 block of North Gold Street reported someone threatened to kill them. The case is under investigation.
DUI
• A 26-year-old Centralia man was arrested for DUI in the 600 block of West Main Street just before 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 26 after an officer pulled him over for erratic driving.
Malicious mischief
• Someone reportedly threw a rock through a window, causing $1,300 in damage, in the 1100 block of Kresky Avenue just after 8:05 a.m. on Feb. 27.
Criminal trespass
• An 18-year-old Centralia woman was arrested for trespassing in the 1200 block of Mellen Street just before 2:10 p.m. on Feb. 27. A juvenile was also referred on charges.
• A 55-year-old Cinebar woman was arrested for trespassing in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road just after 7:20 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Assault
• A 70-year-old Napavine man was arrested for assaulting a health care worker in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road just after 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Drug violation
• A 29-year-old Toledo man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of North Tower Avenue just before 1:20 a.m. on Feb. 28.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Hit-and-run
• A hit-and-run reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 8 a.m. on Feb. 26 is under investigation.
• A hit-and-run reported in the 200 block of Southwest 13th Street at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Feb. 27 is under investigation.
Vehicle accident
• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision that occurred in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 6 p.m. on Feb. 25 was reported just after 10:20 a.m. on Feb. 26.
Suspicious circumstances
• A suspicious vehicle reported in the 800 block of Northwest Airport Road just before 9:25 a.m. on Feb. 26 is under investigation.
Criminal trespass
• A homeless man was reportedly loitering around the entrance to a business in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at 9:55 a.m. on Feb. 26.
• A subject was trespassed from a business in the 10 block of South Market Boulevard just after 10:25 a.m. on Feb. 27.
Scam
• A scam phone call that occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue on Feb. 25 was reported just after 10:05 a.m. on Feb. 26. When an officer contacted the reporting party, she reportedly asked the officer “to repeat myself three times before yelling at me to stop calling,” according to Chehalis Police Department call logs.
Malicious mischief
• At approximately 10:40 a.m. on Feb. 26, someone reported a juvenile jumped on a teacher’s car, damaging the hood, in the 100 block of Northeast Hampe Way the day prior.
• Third-degree malicious mischief reported in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard at 4 p.m. on Feb. 26 is under investigation.
Child abuse or neglect
• A case of child abuse or neglect reported in the 100 block of Southeast Westside Drive at 10:45 a.m. on Feb. 26 is under investigation.
Possession of stolen property
• A subject was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of West Main Street at 1:35 p.m. on Feb. 26. The vehicle was recovered.
Theft
• Two teenage girls reportedly stole alcohol from a business in the 500 block of South Market Boulevard at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Feb. 26.
• A third-degree theft reported in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue just after 5:05 p.m. on Feb. 27 is under investigation.
Harassment
• A subject reported she was being harassed at a business in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 4:35 p.m. on Feb. 26.
• Telephonic harassment was reported in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue just after 1:35 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Disputes
• A verbal dispute was reported in the 1200 block of Southwest Ripple Court just after 12:20 p.m. on Feb. 27.
• A physical dispute between two brothers, ages 15 and 19, was reported in the 600 block of North National Avenue just after 12:35 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Assault
• A fourth-degree assault reported in the 2100 block of Southwest Woodland Circle just before 5:20 p.m. on Feb. 27 is under investigation.
Shooting complaint
• A possible gunshot was reportedly heard in the 10 block of Northeast Cascade Avenue at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Feb. 28. An officer located a firework mortar in a nearby alleyway.

Sentencings
• Fernando Martin Pizano, 47, of Silver Creek, entered an Alford plea to one count of felony harassment, domestic violence, and pleaded guilty to two counts of violation of a protection order on Feb. 24. An Alford plea allows a defendant to take advantage of a plea deal without admitting guilt. He was granted a first-time offender waiver and was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 319 days suspended, for a total 45 days of jail time with credit for 36 days served. He is required to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and complete all recommended treatment. A no-contact order protecting the victim is in place.
• Robert Daniel Barber, 27, of Longview, was sentenced Feb. 27 to 17 months in prison after he pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to one count each of third-degree rape, third-degree assault and felony harassment. He is required to undergo a sexual deviancy evaluation and complete all recommended treatment. A 5-year no-contact order protecting the victim is in place.
• Dasjon Robinson, 25, of Tacoma, entered an Alford plea to one count of third-degree driving with a suspended license and pleaded guilty to one count each of attempting to elude and DUI on Feb. 26. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
• Coyote Sindueno Acabo, 47, of Olympia, pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to one count each of second-degree malicious mischief and second-degree criminal trespass and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 15 days served.
• Rick J. Summitt, 26, of Centralia, pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to one count of unlawful imprisonment and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 22 days served. He is required to undergo a domestic violence evaluation and complete all recommended treatment. A no-contact order in favor of the victim is in place.
• Paul Jason Ward, 27, of Tenino, was sentenced Feb. 26 to 12 months and one day in prison after he pleaded guilty Jan. 27 to one count of third-degree rape. He is required to undergo an alcohol use evaluation and a sexual deviancy evaluation and complete all recommended treatment. A 10-year no-contact order protecting the victim is in place.
FIRE AND EMS CALLS
• Between Wednesday morning and Friday morning, Lewis County 911 Communications logged approximately 50 illness-related calls, 12 injury-related calls, four fire-related calls, three non-emergency service calls, two vehicle accidents, one suicide-related call, one coroner call, two vehicle accidents, two 911-hangup calls, one medical helicopter request, three Lifeline medical alerts and two other calls.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 142 inmates, including 129 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 101 were reported male and 28 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Friday morning, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total system population of 25 inmates, including nine booked by the Centralia Police Department, 12 booked by the state Department of Corrections, one booked by the Tulalip Tribe, one booked by the Skokomish Tribe and two booked by the Lummi Nation.
