Posted

Christina Jo (Snead) Porter passed away in the early morning of Aug. 3, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She fought a three-year battle with breast and brain cancer, always with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Our warrior is now pain free!

Christina was born in Centralia, Washington, and graduated from Centralia High School in 1999,

She started employment with the Washington Department of Labor & Industries in 2012 and held many positions there. At the time of her death, she was a medical program specialist.

Some of her favorite things were going to the ocean, Maui, and watching the Seahawks and Mariners, but her most favorite thing was family get-togethers and being with her husband and kids.

Christina is survived by her loving husband, Bryan; her children, Emma, Nicholas, Isabella and Kaiden; mother and father, Susie and Matt Snead; sister and brother-in-law, Callie and Mike Webster; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Brad Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Miles and Kasey Snead; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sue and Ed Schneider; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Janis Porter; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Tygh Hollinger; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chad and Jenny Porter.

She also had many nieces and nephews who she adored.

Her memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Calvary Chapel in Centralia.

Christina loved the Seahawks and Mariners, so if you would like to wear their attire in honor of her, please feel free to do so.
