A proud graduate of the W.F. West High School Class of 1974, Ron never let a good story — or a good time — go to waste. He started out putting in honest, rugged work as a logger for Weyerhaeuser before bringing his grit and know-how back home to the family business, where he kept at it right up until the end.
If you knew Ron, you knew two things: he was a fiercely loyal friend who loved his lifelong buddies down to his very last breath, and he took immense pride in his family.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth (Bud) and Theresa Walker, and his brother, Steven Walker.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love in his son, Nick Walker, and daughter-in-law, Victoria, along with the real apples of his eye—his two grandsons, Garrett and Chase Walker, who will undoubtedly carry on his spirited legacy.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be announced at a later date, where friends and family can gather to share stories, swap tall tales and raise a toast to a life truly well lived.
