In loving memory of Leonard A. Hilton Jr. (Junior): 1946-2025

Leonard A. Hilton Jr. was born in Longview, Washington, to Leonard A. Hilton and Frances M. (Garvey) Hilton.

He moved to Mossyrock in 1952 where he graduated from Mossyrock High School in 1964. He then married the love of his life, Karol J. Lambert, in March 1964. They were married 58 years.

He worked in the logging industry his whole life and served with the Mossyrock Fire Department for 20 years.

They had two children, Lisa (Steve) George and Leann (Doug) High; four grandchildren, BreAuna (Tony) Baker, Kiarra (Andreas) Gomez, Juanita (Jason) Ziady and Brittnie (Jeff) Baker-Fabb; and 12 great-grandchildren who he adored more than anything, his 12 “greats,” as he called them.

We will be having a graveside service at noon on Feb. 1 at Doss Cemetery, 142-146 Coleman Road, Mossyrock, Washington.

Following that, we invite everyone to the Mossyrock Fire Department, 238 Mossyrock Road East, for a potluck. At this time, Lewis County Dispatch will do a final fire tone out for him and all of us will hear it. They will also have all of their firefighters engage all of the truck sirens.
