Wolves take down Bobcats

The Black Hills volleyball team held onto second place in the 2A EvCo on Thursday night, sweeping Aberdeen in straight sets. No set scores were reported.

Ashley Harris had 14 kills, nine digs and five aces for the Wolves (8-4, 7-2 2A EvCo). Claire Johnson added seven kills and six digs, while Ava Klovas had five kills, four digs, an ace and a block.



Anneliese Dale led the defense with 16 digs, while Lilly Kincaid dished out 24 assists. Tyler Venable rounded out the main rotation with a pair of aces and six digs.

Black Hills will head up to the Burlington-Edison Invite on Saturday, before coming back to resume 2A EvCo play against W.F. West next Thursday.
