The Mossyrock boys basketball team handled its business in Vancouver on Thursday, as the Vikings soundly defeated the Washington School for the Deaf 71-45.
The Vikings raced out to a 23-7 lead after the first quarter, but the Terriers responded with a strong second and trimmed the lead to five.
It was all Mossyrock after that, however, as the Vikings outscored the Terriers 35-14 in the second half to pull away.
Zack Munoz scored a game-high 22 points, and he tallied seven steals and six assists. Hunter Isom finished with a double-double, as he scored 21 and hauled in 14 rebounds. Tyce Vigre was also solid from the floor, scoring 16 points, and Luke Cooper added eight assists.
The Vikings are off until Thursday, when they’ll host Toledo in a non-league matchup.
