Vikings run wild to beat Warriors

The Mossyrock football team unleashed its offense in full force Friday night at home, and Chief Leschi could do little to stop it in a 76-34 blowout win for the Vikings.

Quarterback Easton Kolb ran the ball 21 times for 225 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings, and also went 6 for 8 through the air for 169 yards and another score. Marshall Brockway took the rock 18 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns of his own.

Peyton McClure did a bit of everything, logging a receiving touchdown, a kickoff return for a touchdown, and a scoop-n-score on defense, and finished with 183 total yards.

Mossyrock led 16-0 after a quarter of play, before the two teams exploded in a second quarter that boasted 58 points and ended with the Vikings taking a 52-22 lead into halftime.

Zack Munos and Luke Cooper added touchdowns in the third quarter for Mossyrock.

The Vikings will get their biggest test of the season next weekend when they host Naselle.
