With car show season in full swing as summer progresses, gearheads have a trio of car shows happening over the next two weekends to show off their projects and admire others’ classic restored and custom cars.
This weekend, the Centralia Point ALMC Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Centralia Point Assisted Living and Memory Care facility located at 2010 Cooks Hill Road in Centralia.

Then, on Sunday, Aug. 17, the T-9-0 Quarryman Car Club will hold its 23rd annual Show N Shine car show at Tenino City Park, located at 309 Park Ave. W. in Tenino.
The show will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature door prizes, raffles, live music and a trophy presentation at the end. The Tenino Masonic Lodge will also be hosting a pancake breakfast in the Tenino Quarry House at the park.

The following weekend on Saturday, Aug. 23, the Hub City Car Show will once again return to the streets of downtown Centralia from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organized by the Centralia Downtown Festivals Association in partnership with the Lewis County Quarter Milers car club, the Hub City Car Show will feature live music, custom made trophies, local vendors and of course, the cars, all on Tower Avenue and Magnolia, Pine and Main streets.
Additionally, Live 95 & KITI will hold their annual car giveaway during the Hub City Car Show. Up for grabs this year is a 2012 Dodge Challenger. Information on their giveaway can be found on Live 95’s website at https://www.live95.com/car-giveaway.
The car show is free to attend, and entry cost for cars is $25 per vehicle. Registration is held the day of the show. However, pre-registration is available the day prior at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, during the Hub City Car Show Kickoff BBQ event at Kens Bi-right Motors 515 W. Main St. in downtown Centralia.
