A joint ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at noon on Monday, Sept. 8, to celebrate the opening of two new businesses in downtown Chehalis.
Journey to Aum Coaching and Take Care Massage are located at their shared location, 539 N. Market Blvd., where the ceremony will be held. Following the ceremony, there will be light refreshments, a raffle and an opportunity to meet the owners, according to a news release from the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.
Journey to Aum Coaching is owned by Madison Creel, who offers breathwork classes, coaching and education for inner healing. As a certified speech therapist who has worked with youth in local school districts and individuals recovering in health care, Creel has a passion for helping people grow through self-discovery and transformation, the release stated.
“My goal is to help people heal and grow — to help alleviate suffering,” Creel said. “Through classes, workshops or individual sessions, you gain the tools to navigate your life from a place of power and ultimately live a life more connected to your soul.”
Creel is local to the area and has made it her life's work to guide people to wholeness. More information and appointment scheduling is available at JourneytoAum.com.
Take Care Massage, owned by Jen Kosharek, has served clients for three years and now opens its first public location. Kosharek offers a variety of therapeutic services, including hot stone, Swedish and medical massage, along with cupping, Gua Sha therapy (Chinese scraping), hot towel treatments and prenatal massage, according to the release.
In addition, her services include TMJ/intraoral treatments and myofascial release to relieve jaw pain and is a yoga teacher. Kosharek also provides mobile massage sessions and is a certified Reiki 1 and 2 practitioner. Appointments can be booked at vagaro.com/takecaremassagetherapy.
Massage sessions are available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday, while Creel offers private sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays, in addition to group and educational programs offsite.
The ribbon-cutting ceremonies are provided by Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce to honor and celebrate new businesses as well as those expanding, relocating or experiencing other milestone events.
