Picking up its fourth win in a row after a losing streak, the Tumwater baseball team beat Aberdeen for the second straight day, 12-4, on the road Friday evening.

The Thunderbirds had seven total hits, and took advantage of Bobcat mistakes to put 12 runs on the board in a dominant win, with Ryan Orr’s two RBIs leading the way. Eddie Marson, Derek Thompson, and Jordan Hanson also recorded RBIs.

On the mound, the T-Birds turned to four guys to get it done, and each did so in their own way. Hanson got it going, lasting 3.2 innings with no earned runs, five strikeouts and three walks. Alex Overbay finished off the Bobcats in the final inning and two thirds, striking out four to help the Thunderbirds walk away series winners against Aberdeen.

The T-Birds (7-3) take on W.F. West in a pivotal league matchup on Tuesday in their next outing.
