CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Theft
• Prescription medication was reported stolen from the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue just after 7:50 a.m. on Oct. 28.
• Shoes were reported stolen from an outlet in the 1300 block of Lum Road just after 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 28.
• A stereo was reported stolen from an auto parts store in the 1100 block of Johnson Road just before 6:55 p.m. on Oct. 28.
• A package containing adult diapers was reported stolen from a porch in the 400 block of East Plum Street just after 5:10 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Assault
• A 47-year-old Orting woman was cited for fourth-degree assault in the 600 block of North Tower Avenue just after 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 28.
Drug violations
• A 31-year-old Centralia man was cited for possession of a controlled substance in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue just after 10:55 a.m. on Oct. 29. He was also arrested on an outstanding Chehalis Municipal Court warrant.
• A 68-year-old Centralia man was cited for possession of meth in the 300 block of North Tower Avenue at 9 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Malicious mischief
• A 33-year-old Centralia man was cited for damaging a family member’s vehicle in the 800 block of West Sixth Street just after 1:20 p.m. on Oct. 29. He was already in custody at the time on a separate offense, which was perpetrated after he damaged the vehicle, according to the Centralia Police Department.
Disorderly conduct
• Two homeless Chehalis residents were trespassed from a business in the 200 block of South Pearl Street for disorderly conduct just before 5:55 p.m. on Oct. 29.
• A homeless Puyallup resident was trespassed from a business in the 1000 block of South Gold Street for disorderly conduct just after 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 29.
• A 41-year-old Centralia man was cited for disorderly conduct after he started a physical altercation with a roommate in the 1500 block of Lum Road just before 12:50 a.m. on Oct. 30.

Criminal trespass
• Criminal trespassing was reported in the 200 block of Southwest Riverside Drive just after 8:35 a.m. on Oct. 25.
• A female panhandler was trespassed from the 1900 block of South Market Boulevard just after 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 25.
• A man who was reportedly “throwing pills in his mouth” in the 10 block of Northeast Cascade Avenue just before 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 27 was trespassed from the area.
• A man was cited for trespassing in the 10 block of Northeast Cascade Avenue just after 8 a.m. on Oct. 28.
• Homeless people were trespassed from a business property in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue just after 2:25 p.m. on Oct. 28.
• Criminal trespassing was reported in the 1500 block of Rice Road at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Oct. 28.
Vehicle accidents
• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street just after 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.
• At 3 p.m. on Oct. 26, a non-injury, two-vehicle collision that occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 1:30 p.m. that day was reported.
• A food delivery driver reportedly struck a parked vehicle in the 200 block of Northeast Hillside Drive just before 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Suspicious circumstances
• A “suspicious vehicle” reported in the 1500 block of Rice Road just before 7:20 p.m. on Oct. 25 is under investigation.
• A man was reportedly trying to access construction materials stored outside in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street at noon on Oct. 26.
• A possible burglary was reported at a vacant residence in the 100 block of Southwest 11th Street just after 4 p.m. on Oct. 28.
• Two women were reportedly interrupted while trying to reach into a mailbox in the 1300 block of Southwest Kelly Avenue just after 5:25 p.m. on Oct. 28.
• A subject was reportedly “beating on the windows” of a building in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 29.
Disputes
• A “disturbance/dispute” reported in the 10 block of Southwest Seventh Street just before 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 25 is under investigation.
• A verbal domestic dispute was reported in the 500 block of Northwest Rhode Island Place just after 10 a.m. on Oct. 26.
Assault
• A fourth-degree assault was reported in the 10 block of Southwest Seventh Street just after 3:05 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Vicious dog
• Just after 7:10 p.m. on Oct. 26, an Amazon delivery driver reported he was bitten by a dog in the 300 block of Southeast Hillsdale Lane at about 5 p.m. the day prior.
Juvenile problem
• A 10-year-old was reportedly throwing rocks at the window of a school in the 100 block of Northeast Hampe Way just after 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 28. School staff de-escalated the situation.
DUI
• A subject was arrested for DUI at the intersection of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest State Avenue at 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 28.
Drug violation
• A subject was cited for unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the 800 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 28.

Sentencings
• Brandon Allen Falter, 33, pleaded guilty Oct. 28 to one count of possession of a controlled substance while in a county or local corrections facility and was sentenced to 15 days in prison with credit for 15 days served.
• Rigoberto Sanchez Jr., 20, pleaded guilty Oct. 28 to two separate prison riot charges and was sentenced to 24 months in prison on one charge and 365 days in prison on the other charge.
FIRE AND EMS CALLS
• Between Monday morning and Wednesday morning, Lewis County 911 Communications logged approximately 37 illness-related calls, seven injury-related calls, 13 fire-related calls, four non-emergency service calls, two vehicle accidents, one hazardous conditions report, one ambulance request, one medical helicopter request, one overdose, one Lifeline medical alert and three other calls.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 148 inmates, including 135 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 108 were reported male and 27 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Wednesday morning, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total system population of 15 inmates, including five booked by the Centralia Police Department, six booked by the state Department of Corrections, one booked by the Tulalip Tribe and three booked by the Lummi Nation.
