The Toledo baseball team rolled to an easy victory at a tough place to play Wednesday, beating Wahkiakum 12-1 in five innings behind four crooked numbers.

The Riverhawks only needed seven hits to do their damage, drawing 13 free passes and taking advantage of five Wahkiakum errors.

Caiden Schultz tossed five innings on the hill, striking out 10 and allowing one unearned run on a pair of hits and three walks. He also did damage at the plate, hitting a solo home run.

Kaven Winters added a pair of doubles, driving in two runs and scoring two more. Rogan Stanley went 1 for 1 with a double and drew three walks.

Toledo is scheduled to host Wahkiakum for the second game of the two-game series Thursday.
