Reader submission: Kenzington Guenther shines showing pigs at the Washington State Fair

Posted

Kenzington Guenther is pretty amazing. She took her home-raised pigs to the Washington State Fair, representing Lewis County, and she wowed everyone by winning every ring she entered.

At just 11 years old, she earned the Champion Junior Showmanship title. Then, she showcased her purebred York and took home the Champion Purebred York award.

That York competed against other breeds and still took home the Champion Overall Purebred. She also showed her crossbred pig and won champion in her class, then went on to become the Supreme Champion Cross Bred.

But it gets even better — her York and her crossbred pig went head-to-head against all the other champions, and Kenzington claimed both the Grand Champion Supreme and Reserved Grand Champion Supreme.

Basically, she's got the two best gilts in the entire state of Washington.
