Northwest Futures Fastpitch League hosting ‘The Sandlot’ movie night fundraiser at Wheeler Field

The Northwest Futures Fastpitch League (NWFFL) is putting on a movie night fundraiser at Ed Wheeler Field in Centralia Tuesday, July 29 with a showing of “The Sandlot.”

Gates open at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at 9 p.m. The family-friendly event will support opportunities for local girls to grow through sport, competition and community. The NWFFL is a developmental league dedicated to empowering young female athletes and their families, with practices and games held in Lewis County.

Raffle tickets, concessions and silent auction items are up for grabs. Auction items include Tacoma Rainiers tickets, The Yard PNW private lessons, South Sound Speedway tickets, and more.



Single general admission tickets cost $10 for turf or grass seating, and reserved seating for a designated space on the turf cost $15, with a limit of 40 tickets. VIP tickets cost $25, offering a reserved space closest to the screen. Team tickets for up to 10 people cost $85 and must be entered together.

Attendees can also preorder snacks and cookie boxes ahead of time. Snack packs cost $25, and cookie boxes featuring four cookies from Sweet Dough Cookie Co. cost $20.
