Mountain View Baptist Church plans to hold a two-hour, free seminar titled “GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays.” The seminar aims to provide encouragement, support and valuable tools to navigate the season, according to a news release.
“GriefShare” will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at Mountain View Baptist Church, 1201 Belmont Ave, Room 107, Centralia.
“Surviving the Holidays” is a one-time, video-based support event, designed to equip residents grieving the loss of a loved one with practical, Biblical tools to navigate the holiday season, according to the news release.
The video is about 35 minutes long, with expert teaching and real-life stories from people who understand grief. Afterward, there will be an opportunity for discussion and encouragement in a safe group setting.
