The Lewis County Gospel Mission in Chehalis is seeing a record number of attendees due to the holiday season, a Facebook post from the nonprofit stated.
The Lewis County Gospel Mission served over 4,000 meals in November, but has recently lost about 40 of its ceramic cups, according to the post.
Current needs include coffee cups, 12-ounce ceramic, which stay in the building and are reused; winter jackets; winter boots; thermal coffee mugs that can be given to the guests; rain gear; sleeping bags; cold weather gloves; cold weather socks; and $10 gift cards for fast food or coffee. Other gift-like items that would be appropriate for guests are also greatly appreciated, the post stated.
