Eleven combined strikeouts on the bump, six total hits at the plate and scoring over half of Mossyrock’s runs, Easton Kolb and Wylde Greisen displayed near perfection in a 15-0 four-inning triumph over Lake Quinault on Monday night.

Kolb and Greisen tossed a combined shutout in setting down 12 Elks hitters. Kolb was dialed in with 10 strikeouts and Greisen recorded the final two outs. The Vikings plated two runs in the bottom of the fourth to force the run-rule.

Mossyrock led 4-0 after one frame, then broke the game open with a six-spot in the second and three more in the third. Greisen finished 4-for-4 and drove in three runs while Hunter Isom registered two hits, three stolen bases and three RBIs. Kolb had two hits and swiped four bases.

The Vikings capitalized on eight walks and six errors by Lake Quinault. Mossyrock will take on Naselle on Wednesday in a non-league game, but the matchup on Thursday against Taholah will be a league game.
