The Adna girls basketball team won its third road game in a row Wednesday evening, downing Toutle Lake 66-40 in Central 2B League action.

Karsyn Freeman led the Pirates (5-1, 2-1 C2BL) with 23 points, but it was Danika Hallom, who put in 19 points and brought down a team-best eight rebounds, who earned coach Chris Bannish’s top praise.

“I thought tonight was Hallom’s best night of the year,” he said. “If we can get her going along with Freeman, it’s going to be tough to guard those two up top.”

Gaby Guard also got into double figures for Adna, scoring 11 points.

The Pirates led by 11 at halftime and hit another gear in the third, dropping 27 points in eight minutes to go up by 24.

Adna will host Onalaska on Friday.
