The Adna girls basketball team ended its time up in Skagit County with another win, 69-32 over Crosspoint Academy on the last day of the Mount Vernon Holiday Tournament.

Only four Pirates ended up in the scoring column on the night, but that was more than enough. Karsyn Freeman and Gaby Guard both put in 25 points, combining to outscore the Warriors easily by themselves.

Guard finished 7 for 10 from beyond the arc, and 9 for 13 from the field.

Danika Hallom added 11 points and came one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double, and Ashley VonMoos pitched in the final eight.

Adna combined for 21 steals as a team, with Freeman and Hallom both logging six and Guard adding five over her own.

The Pirates will come home to face Kalama on Wednesday in a return to Central 2B League play.

Vikings fall to Forks

Mossyrock, also up at Mount Vernon, lost its final game of the tournament, 51-47 to Forks.

No stats were reported. The Vikings will take on Pe Ell on Wednesday.
