The Friends of the Chehalis Library (FOCL) will be holding a meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, according to a news release from the FOCL.
“The Friends are an informal group of library supporters. Our goal is to promote our library, its staff and the resources,” The FOCL’s website stated.
The FOCL is a nonprofit group formed in 1982, run by Lewis County community members. It partners with Lewis County businesses to help the Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library provide programs and events to the greater Chehalis community, according to its website.
Anyone interested in supporting community involvement is invited to the upcoming meeting, from kids to adults.
According to the news release, anyone interested can come visit, learn more, ask questions, and enjoy time with other library lovers.
