As Earth Day approaches in April, Experience Chehalis is looking for artists to submit proposals to be used in the upcoming Earth Day Community Clean-up event on Apr. 22 according to an Experience Chehalis news release.
“The goal of the design is to promote and inspire community members to participate in the Earth Day Community Clean-up and inspire our citizens to care for our planet,” stated the release.
Guidelines for submissions include a representation of a clean, colorful and beautiful planet earth mixed with local Chehalis themes. Submissions should not include words in the design and must be contained to a square as they will be placed on posters.
Additionally, the design will also appear on T-shirts, stickers and social media promotions.
The winning artist chosen will be paid $350 for their design but will be responsible for all costs associated with the design’s creation. Experience Chehalis also requests ownership of the artwork.
Artists of any age can submit designs via email to email@example.com. Submissions must be in .pdf, .jpeg or .png format and artists must include their name, mailing address, phone number, email address and a short biography about themselves.
The deadline for design submission is March 29 and the winner will be announced the next day. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
