The Centralia College men’s soccer team returned to play after its early-season break with a win at Bob Peters Field on Wednesday, beating Lane 4-2.

Toledo alum Matthew Ethridge had the hot foot for the Trailblazers (2-1-1), bagging three goals — including the game-winner — and an assist to lead the way.

Centralia product Leo Perez had the other goal on the day, and also logged an assist. CC’s other two assists came from Gio Rojas (Centralia) and Jairo Lima Perez (W.F. West).

Goalkeeper Victor Rojas made four saves for CC.

The Trailblazers will remain at home to play again Saturday, against Chemeketa.
