Hundreds of local veterans and their families attended the Chehalis Tribal Veterans Day Honor Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel.

The dinner was free and open to not only veterans and their families, but active duty service members as well.

Along with the veterans and their families enjoying a free dinner, raffles were held and attendees enjoyed speeches from both officials from Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation and local veterans, including Centralia’s own American Legion Grant Hodge Post 17 Commander Bob Clark and Rodney Youckton, chief community relations officer at Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel.

The event followed the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Bean Feed held at Grant Hodge Post 17 in Centralia that morning. Grant Hodge Post 17 is located at 111 W. Main St. in downtown Centralia.
