Four college tuition-only scholarships of at least $1,000 will be awarded to eligible enrollees in accredited public or private two- or four-year colleges, universities and technical or trade schools during the 2026-2027 academic year, according to a recent news release from the Lewis County branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
The scholarships are awarded by Women Supporting Women Scholarships, a local nonprofit supported by the Lewis County AAUW.
Women graduating from Lewis County or Rochester high schools and those who have resided in Lewis County or Rochester for at least two years are eligible to enroll.
The deadline for applying is Feb. 15, 2026.
To apply, submit applications by mail or email along with a transcript, a record of service to school or community, and a demonstration of financial need, according to the release.
