Torched RV

• Fire destroyed an RV on the 2200 block of Cooks Hill Road at 6:22 p.m. Saturday. No one was hurt, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

 

Centralia Police Department

Drug Possession

• Enrique Orozco-Cabrerra, 36, Seattle, was arrested and booked into jail for alleged possession of methamphetamine at 7 a.m. Friday on Woodland Avenue.

• Kathie I. Martin, 60, Centralia, was arrested and booked into jail for an outstanding warrant and alleged possession of methadone on the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at 4:45 a.m. Saturday.

• James A. Nix, 46, Centralia, was arrested and booked for alleged possession of methamphetamine on the 200 block of South Tower Avenue at 9:28 p.m. Saturday.

• Brandon S. Prall, 29, Tumwater, was cited and released for alleged possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at 10:04 p.m. Saturday.

• Brianna J. Votaw, 20, Toledo, and Janice-Lee E. Knutz, 18, Tumwater, were cited and released for alleged possession of marijuana and alleged possession of drug paraphernalia on the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue at 10:40 p.m. Saturday.

• Steven D. Couch, 27, Centralia, was arrested and booked into jail for alleged possession of methamphetamine at 12:02 p.m. Sunday near the corner of South Pearl Street and West Chestnut Street.

DUI, Pot And a Suspended License

• Aaron C. Ferner, 20, Centralia, was arrested and booked into jail for allegedly driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, and alleged possession of marijuana near the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Marsh Avenue at 1:28 a.m. Sunday.

Vandalism

• A business owner on the 600 block of North Tower Avenue reported at 7:18 a.m. Friday that someone had thrown a rock through the store’s window. Nothing was stolen.

• Someone broke out a storefront window on the 300 block of South Tower Avenue at 7:58 p.m. Sunday. The suspect was described as a tall man wearing dark clothes and riding a BMX-style bike.

Vehicle Prowl

• Someone reported the theft of a stereo from a vehicle on the 100 block of South Pearl Street at 9:36 a.m. Friday.

• Two vehicles were broken into sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning on the 1100 block of West Plum Street. A GPS unit, cash and jewelry were reportedly taken.

 

Bad Roommate

• Kate A. Beckett, 22, Onalaska, was arrested and booked into jail for allegedly assaulting a roommate on the 1500 block of Grand Avenue at 10 a.m. Friday.

Hit-and-Run Collision

• Someone reported that a driver had struck her fence and left at 1:25 p.m. Friday on the 1500 block of Central Boulevard.

• Someone reported at 2:02 a.m. Sunday that a cream-colored, full-sized truck struck a parked vehicle on South King Street and West Cherry Street then left without making contact. The suspect’s truck has an oversized canopy and fresh damage on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Stolen Gas Pump Hose

• A male suspect driving a green car drove away from a gas pump, ripping off the gas hose on the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at 7 p.m. Friday. The case is still under investigation.

Burglary

• A woman reported at 4:16 a.m. Saturday that someone entered her home on the 200 block of Ahlers Avenue through a window and stole rings and $2,000 in cash. The case is still under investigation.

• Someone entered a residence on the 1100 block of Long Road through an unlocked door and stole several car titles and some movies. The burglary was reported at 4:16 p.m. Sunday.

Theft

• A bike was reportedly stolen sometime during the last week from a garage on the 500 block of Madison Street. The theft was reported at 12:12 p.m. Saturday.

• Someone reported the theft of several security cameras from a business on the 1200 block of South Gold Street at 12:28 p.m. Saturday. The theft is still under investigation.

Elusive Shoplifter

• A man wearing dark-colored jacket stole a sweatshirt from a store on the 1300 block of Lum Road at 6 p.m. Saturday. The man was not located.

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Burglary

• A burglary was reported at 6 p.m. Wednesday to a residence on the 1700 block of Centralia Alpha Road outside of Chehalis. A lock box, valued at $50, was stolen, but there was nothing of value inside.

• A burglary that occurred between Tuesday and Thursday was reported on the 100 block of Mineral Hill Road in Mineral at 2:21 p.m. Thursday. A yellow water trampoline, six wooden oars, a fiberglass fishing pole and reel, tools and other items were reportedly stolen.

• A burglary to a house and garage on the 700 block of Mineral Creek Road was reported at about 10 a.m. Friday. There was about $250 in damage to the residence, and about $1,100 worth of power tools were reportedly stolen.

Vehicle Prowl

• A vehicle prowl that occurred sometime between Monday and Wednesday of last week was reported at 11:21 a.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Summerside Drive outside of Centralia. A toolbox, blankets, a sleeping bag and boots were stolen, valuing about $140. 

Violation of a Mutual Restraining Order

• Dillon Goodman, 22, of Winlock, and Michelle Goodman, 19, of Chehalis, were arrested and booked into jail after they both violated a mutual restraining order on the 100 block of Ryan Place in Chehalis at 12:19 p.m. Friday by meeting one another in person.

DUI Collision

• Justin Lee Hyde, 35, Centralia, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after he drove off Reynolds Avenue near Blair Road outside of Centralia, struck a curb and a construction sign, then drove across the train tracks. The passenger, Michael S. Gerry, 18, Centralia, was referred to the prosecutor’s office for potential charges for allegedly being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Dog Bite

• A 56-year-old Randle woman reported she was riding her bike on the 100 block of Kiona Road at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday when a neighbor’s dog ran up and bit her leg. A warning was given to the owner of the dog.

 

Chehalis Police Department

Drug Possession

• Scott J. Wiese, 45, Roy, was cited and released for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 600 block of North National Avenue at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday.

• Natalie J. Soto, 27, Napavine, was arrested and booked for alleged possession of methamphetamine at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near Southwest Chehalis Avenue and Southwest Third Street.

Vehicle Prowls

• A digital camera, a wallet and a video game were stolen out of a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue. The incident was reported at 4:55 a.m. Thursday.

• A vehicle prowl was reported at 11:19 a.m. Thursday on the 500 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue. Nothing was stolen.

• A stereo was stolen out of a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Southeast Washington Avenue at 2:48 p.m. Thursday.

• A vehicle prowl on the 1400 block of Southwest Snively Avenue was reported at 1:23 p.m. Sunday. A CD player valued at $300 was reportedly stolen.

Thanksgiving Dinner Escapes

• Chehalis police received two separate reports of a bird that was either a peacock, turkey or hen running around the parking lot of Shop ‘N’ Kart Thursday afternoon. The fate of the bird is unknown.

Black Friday Shoplifter

• Oliva Flores-Purser, 19, Centralia, was cited and released for allegedly attempting to shoplift $101.91 worth of makeup from K-Mart shortly before 6 a.m. Friday.

Minor in Possession

• Jessica I. Quezada, 19, Chehalis, was cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol on the 700 block of Southwest 20th Street at 3:11 a.m. Friday.

Burglary

• A car dolly, valued at $800, was reported stolen from Northwest State Avenue and Northwest California Street at 2 p.m. Saturday.

• A burglary to an unlocked garage on the 1500 block of Southwest Kelley Avenue was reported at 10 a.m. Sunday. A $350 chainsaw was stolen.
