Sirens: Assault, Bad Friend, Stolen Generator, A Drink and a Movie

Assault

• Police arrested Gregory L. Sherrill, 29, of Centralia for allegedly pushing and choking his brother in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road in Centralia at 12:47 p.m. Thursday. He was booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

 

Bad Friend

• Police are investigating a report that a victim’s friend stole $100 from his wallet. The victim reported that he gave his friend a ride to a store in the 1200 block of Mellen Street in Centralia. When they arrived the victim discovered the money had been taken out of his wallet. He told authorities his friend entered the store and then ran back out. The report was made at 12:50 a.m. Friday. 

 

Chehalis Police Department

 

Stolen Generator

• A generator was reported stolen in the 600 block of Northwest Gertrude Street in Chehalis between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Thursday.

 

Drink and a Movie

• A woman reportedly shoplifted hard lemonade and DVDs from a store in the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue in Chehalis at 3:25 p.m. Thursday. She was driving a red Dodge four door car and headed northbound on Interstate 5. No arrests were made, according to a police report.
