Sirens: Domestic Violence, Sugar in the Gas Tank, Disorderly Conduct

Domestic Violence

• Jose Carmelo Rodriguez, 43, Toledo, was arrested and booked in the Lewis County Jail on Thursday for second-degree domestic violence after allegedly pointing a gun at his daughter’s face on Sept. 15. Child Protective Services alerted sheriff’s deputies with information about the incident, which happened in the family’s the house on the 100 block of Barnes Drive in Toledo.

 

Centralia Police Department

Trespassing

• Gordon C. Powell Jr., 44, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail at 9:46 a.m. Thursday for investigation of trespassing after allegedly breaking into an empty residence.  

Medication Theft

• A caller reported at 10:42 a.m. on Thursday that someone stole their prescription medication on the 900 block of South Tower Avenue.

Assault

• Matthew J. Goff, 29, Centralia, was arrested and booked for alleged third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault on the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at 5:38 p.m. on Thursday.

 

Chehalis Police Department

Domestic Disturbance

• Bridgette R. Hennessy,  29, Chehalis, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after police responded to a domestic disturbance call on the 600 block of Southeast Dobson Court at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday.

Lady Curses at Children

• Lynne, E. Thompson, 47, Chehalis, was arrested and booked in the Lewis County Jail Thursday for disorderly conduct. Around 4 p.m. Thompson was reported to be yelling obscenities at children in a playground on the 100 block Southwest 20th Street.

Shoplifting

• Donna L. Brown, 63, Centralia, was arrested and booked in the Lewis County Jail for burglary after she allegedly shoplifted shirts, hair dye and a bracelet around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday from a store on the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Sugar in the Gas Tank

• A 15-year-old Chehalis female was charged with malicious mischief and booked into Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center after allegedly pouring sugar into someone’s gas tank. The incident occurred around 10:13 p.m. on the 300 block of Southwest Third Street on Thursday. The girl told police the she was being harassed by the car’s owner on Facebook and was tired of dealing with it.

Disorderly Conduct

• Robert L. Hylton, 51, a transient, was arrested and booked in the Lewis County Jail for disorderly conduct Friday. At around 4 a.m., Hylton allegedly started yelling at a woman who had rented a room on the 100 block of Interstate Avenue.
