Santa and his helpers will be visiting Centralia neighborhoods Monday through Wednesday. Volunteers will be on foot collecting donations of food and toys, talking to children, and handing out candy canes and safety information.

Santa will be riding in the Riverside Firefighters Association Santa Mobile.

The event will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

•  Monday  — Jefferson-Lincoln Elementary area starting at West Plum and South King streets and ending at Jefferson-Lincoln.

• Tuesday — Oakview School area starting at West Reynolds Avenue and Hillview Avenue and ending at Oakview Elementary School.

• Wednesday — Edison Elementary area starting on West First Street and ending at Edison Elementary.

•  Thursday — Fords Prairie area starting at Fords Prairie Avenue and Eshom Road and ending at Riverside Fire Authority headquarters station at 1818 Harrison Ave.

From 7:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. each evening, Santa’s sleigh will be found at the ending point of that night’s route, and Santa will be available for pictures with children.

Watch for Santa in your neighborhood and help him fill his sleigh with non-perishable food and new toys for those in need this holiday season.

Each night’s visit will be subject to weather conditions. Inclement weather may necessitate cancellation of the activity.

Additional donations will be accepted at the Riverside Fire Authority fire stations on 1818 Harrison Ave. or 512 N. Pearl St.
