Three Thurston County Sex Offenders Register as Transient

Three sex offenders have recently registered as transient in Thurston County, according to press releases from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

Level 1 sex offender James E. Dye, 53, pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism on July 30, 2018. He was subsequently sentenced to 35 days confinement and 12 months on community supervision.

The conviction stems from Dye sexually assaulting a 3-year-old female. He was 51 at the time. Dye recently registered as transient and will be living in the Thurston County area.

Dye is described as a white male, standing six feet, three inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Level 1 sex offender Dustin J. Hamilton, 20, pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree child molestation on April 21, 2015. He was sentenced to 104 weeks JRA commitment. The conviction stems from Hamilton sexually assaulting a 4-year-old female. Hamilton was 13 at the time.

Hamilton is described as a white male, standing five feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Level 2 sex offender Brian S. Micheau, 52, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree child rape on Jan. 30, 1998. Micheau was sentenced to 189 months confinement.

Micheau’s conviction stems from Micheau, while between the ages of 28 and 31, sexually assaulting a female when she was between the ages of 4 and 7 and a male from the ages of 2 and 5.

Micheau is described as a white male standing five feet, six inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

All three sex offenders have registered as transient and will be living in the Thurston County area.
