Sirens: Suspect Booked on Assault Charge, Debit Card Stolen, Vehicle Damaged

Debit Card Stolen

• At 1:29 p.m. on Monday, a debit/credit card was reported stolen in the 1700 block of South Gold Street. 

Suspect Booked on Assault Charge

• At 1:57 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of an assault in the 200 block of South Tower Avenue. Ross M. Pearson, 25, of Centralia, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.  

Money Stolen

• At 3:46 p.m. on Monday, money was reported stolen from a wallet in the 2000 block of Cooks Hill Road in Centralia.  

Theft Reported

• At 12:36 a.m. on Tuesday, a bag was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue.  

Vehicle Damaged

• At 4:03 p.m. on Monday, damage to a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of K Street in Centralia. The damage occurred about a month ago. 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Tuesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 214 inmates, including 183 in general population, 29 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 149 were male and 34 were female and of WERC inmates, 26 were male and three female.
