Christmas Day Theft

• Police responded to a report that a someone stole a TV and jewelry from a home in the 200 block of Tilley Avenue in Centralia at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday. The case is under investigation. 

Patient Assaults Hospital Staffer

• Daniel L. Jones, 33, of Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree assault after he allegedly head-butted a Providence Centralia Hospital employee, according to a report. Jones had been voluntarily transported to the hospital before assaulting the employee at 10:56 p.m. Thursday. He was also booked for outstanding warrants.

Underage Drinking

• Breann M. Pearson, 19, of Centralia, was arrested for possession of alcohol by consumption by a minor in the 1300 block of View Avenue in Centralia at 4:39 a.m. Friday. She was booked into the Lewis County Jail. 

Vehicle Prowl

• Police received a report of a stolen debit card from a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Cherry Street in Centralia at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday.

Seahawk Pride Stolen

• A Seahawks flag and pole were reported stolen from the front porch of a home in the 200 block of North Washington Avenue in Centralia at 11:37 a.m. Wednesday. 

Stereo Equipment Theft

• Police received a report of stereo equipment stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Lakeshore Drive in Centralia at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday.

Boy, 16, Arrested

• A 16-year-old boy is being referred to the juvenile prosecutor for alleged possession of marijuana and alcohol. He was arrested and released at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Mellen Street in Centralia.

Chehalis Man Arrested for Alcohol DUI

• Deputies arrested 56-year-old David H. Mayoh, of Chehalis, for driving under the influence on Thursday. Law enforcement responded at 8:28 p.m. to a vehicle in the ditch at milepost 9.5 of Bunker Creek Road in rural Chehalis. Mayoh was located in the driver’s seat of a Chevrolet Silverado, which was in the ditch. He appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants, according to the sheriff’s office. Mayoh did a sobriety test on site and was arrested for DUI. At the Lewis County Jail, Mayoh provided two breath samples which registered at a 0.218 and a 0.220 blood alcohol level. There was minor damage to the pickup, but the collision itself was not reportable, according to the sheriff’s office.
