Centralia Police Department

Man Cited After Road Rage

• At 9:13 a.m. on Monday, police responded to the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard and cited Jesse L. Wilkins, 22, of Centralia, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. Wilkins allegedly punched someone during a road rage incident. 

Counterfeit Cash Reported

• At 12:13 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 500 block of North Tower Avenue.  

Vehicle Prowls

• At 4:52 p.m. on Monday, a vehicle prowl was reported in  the 1200 block of West First Street. 

• At 7:40 p.m. on Monday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 700 block of Harrison Avenue. 

• At 8:06 a.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 500 block of West Pine Street. A Visa card was stolen.

• At 9:16 a.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 800 block of Park Way. The vehicle’s registration was stolen. 

• At 2:48 p.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 600 block of South Cedar Street. A debit card was taken. 

Woman Booked on Assault Charge

• At 9:48 p.m. on Monday, police responded to the 1200 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested Rachel M. Goodman, 30, of Centralia, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

Man Kicked Out of Store, Goes Back to Steal Alcohol

• At 7:52 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the 1000 block of Ellsbury Street. They cited and released Donovan Adams, 26, of Las Vegas, Nevada, who was instructed not to go back to the address, a convenience store. Adams allegedly “immediately went back to the store and stole alcohol,” according to the Centralia Police Department. Adams was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and booked into the Lewis County Jail. 

Garage Graffitied

• At 8:09 p.m. on Tuesday, graffiti was reported on a garage in the 500 block of South Silver Street. A person reportedly saw the suspect and gave a description to police. 

 

Suspect Cited for

Trespassing in Park

• At 4:13 a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the 300 block of Lowe Street and issued an infraction to Simerjit Singh, 39, of Centralia, on suspicion of trespassing in Riverside Park. 

 

Chehalis Police Department

 

Threat Reported

• At 8:27 a.m. on Monday, a threat was reported by a person in the 600 block of Northeast Franklin Avenue. The person reported they had a client with disabilities whose roommate had threatened the client. No arrest was reported.

 

Illegal Dumping

• At 9:31 a.m. on Monday, illegal dumping was reported in the 900 block of Northwest Airport Road. 

 

Counterfeit Cash

• At 1:28 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of counterfeit cash in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue. 

 

Minors Caught Shoplifting

• At 7:55 p.m. on Monday, two minors were reportedly caught shoplifting in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

 

Theft Reported

• At 7:10 a.m. on Monday, a theft was reported in the 1800 block of South Market Boulevard.

 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 209 inmates, including 177 in general population, 31 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and one on work release. Of general population inmates, 143 were men and 34 were women and of WERC inmates, 28 were men and three women.
