Randle Driver Injured When Homemade Trailer Causes Him to Lose Control

A Randle driver was injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon after losing control of his vehicle due to his homemade trailer, according to a report from the Washington State Patrol.

According to the report, the incident was reported at 1:58 p.m. Tuesday on eastbound U.S. Highway 12 4 miles east of Randle. 

A 38-year-old Randle man was driving a blue 1975 International Scout towing a homemade trailer on the highway when the trailer started to whip and get out of control. 

The truck left the road to the right, entered the eastbound ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels. 

The driver was injured and transported to Arbor Health Morton Hospital. He faces charges for allowing the trailer to whip and for not having insurance.
