A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a train on Rogers Road in Chehalis Sunday, according to authorities.
Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Field Operations Chief Bruce Kimsey said the death is under investigation by the sheriff’s office, Amtrak Police and the Lewis County Coroner’s Office.
It happened at around noon Sunday. The pedestrian’s identity was not known Sunday afternoon, Kimsey said.
