The Centralia Community Pool at Thorbeckes Athletic Club was broken into and burglarized by an unknown suspect Saturday night, according to the Centralia Police Department.
Police said the male suspect entered through a door and stole a money box containing $200 in cash. While police indicated the the door was unlocked, Thorbeckes management disputed that, telling The Chronicle that surveillance footage showed an employee locking the door and that the burglar likely used a key.
Police were notified about the burglary at 4:26 p.m. Sunday.
The investigation is still ongoing and Thorbeckes is offering a $500 reward for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
Thorbeckes was able to get footage of the suspect from their surveillance cameras and have posted pictures of him on their Facebook page.
