Lewis County Sheriff Rob Snaza and Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer are inviting citizens to have their morning coffee with them at a number of community forums scheduled from Friday through mid-June.

“The two hope to engage the public with any thoughts and questions they may have, as well as providing a venue for the citizens of Lewis County to better know their elected officials,” according to a press release.

The events are scheduled for 7 to 8 a.m. on April 20 at Ramblin Jack’s Rib Eye in Napavine; 7 to 8 a.m. May 4 at the Little Crane Cafe in Vader; 7 to 8 a.m. May 18 at Fiddlers Coffee in Centralia; 8 to 9 a.m. June 1 at Evey’s Cafe in Pe Ell; and 7 to 8 a.m. June 15 at Cody Cafe in Morton.

“We ultimately work for the public and it’s important we engage them,” Meyer said in a press release.

Meyer and Snaza have previously held forums together to solicit questions or lead discussions on community issues.

“This is a great opportunity for us to interact with the public and listen to their thoughts and concerns, as well as share the great work being done by both offices,” Snaza said. “I look forward to speaking with all those who can make it.”
