One victim was allegedly pepper-sprayed twice in a pre-planned robbery set up to look like a drug deal Saturday that resulted in the arrest of four Lewis County residents on robbery charges.

“When we have shootings and people get hurt in this county it’s all over drug deals,” said Brad Meagher, Lewis County’s chief criminal deputy prosecutor.

Kiana J. DeLaRosa, 18, Andrea Parker, 34, Jon Parker, 32, and Robert Plasencia, 29, were each charged Monday in Lewis County Superior Court with one count of second-degree robbery.

Plasencia, Andrea Parker and Jon Parker were all granted $50,000 bail, in accordance with requests from the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office.

Superior Court Judge Richard Brosey imposed $25,000 bail for DeLaRosa, who, at 18, has no previous history in adult court.

All four suspects are scheduled to make their next court appearances on Thursday.

At 6:44 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a robbery in the 1600 block of North Scheuber Road in Centralia after a man and woman reported they were robbed by suspects who were known to them.

Cash, a purse and backpack were reportedly stolen.

The male victim reported he was threatened with a knife and sprayed twice with bear spray. When officers talked with him, he reportedly had a red face and was visibly in pain.

According to the two victims, DeLaRosa contacted them about buying heroin from a mutual friend. The female victim reportedly planned to buy $100 of heroin for DeLaRosa, who would pay her back.

When the three of them arrived at the residence where they reportedly planned to buy the drugs, DeLaRosa pulled the keys out of the car’s ignition, according to court documents. One of the victims was driving.

“She was apparently one of the people who suggested the whole thing,” Meagher said.

At that point, the other three suspects allegedly came over to the vehicle, and DeLaRosa told them the victims had stolen $100 from her. The other three suspects allegedly sprayed the male with bear spray and attacked them.

They allegedly stole an FM transmitter, a phone, car keys, purse, a wallet containing $150 and other items. The suspects reportedly gave the female victim her phone and keys back, according to court documents.

The male victim reportedly cut Jon Parker with a box cutter during the scuffle.

The various suspects told vastly different stories about the incident once arrested, according to court documents. However, Jon Parker reportedly told investigators that DeLaRosa wanted to “set up” the two victims for a robbery.
