Needles Found in Home

• Police received a report of a landlord finding more than 100 needles in a residence in the 100 block of Southwest 11th Street in Chehalis at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday. 

 

Centralia Police Department

Abuse Case Under Investigation

• Officers are investigating a report of a suspicious injury to a child by a parent. The report was received at 11:36 a.m. Thursday in Centralia.

Cash Taken From Home

• Cash was reported stolen from a home in the 2100 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia at 4:33 p.m. Thursday.

Suspect ID’d in Stolen Jacket Case

• Police are investigating a report of jackets stolen from an outlet store in the 100 block of West High Street in Centralia at 6:31 p.m. Thursday. A suspect has been identified in the case. 

Stolen Camera

• A security camera was reported stolen from the outside of a building in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia at 7:58 p.m. Thursday.

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Attempted Burglary at Golf Shop

• Nothing appears to have been taken following an attempted burglary at the Newaukum Valley Golf Course shop in Chehalis at 4:11 a.m. Wednesday. However, damage to a window is estimated to be $250. Investigation revealed the suspect or suspects climbed on top of a golf cart and broke a window to an upstairs office. 

 

Lewis County Superior Court

Rogers Pleads Not Guilty

• Kyle E. Rogers, of Winlock, pleaded not guilty to second-degree robbery in Superior Court on Thursday. Trial has not yet been set. Rogers was featured on “Washington’s Most Wanted” earlier this month. The 33-year -old was arrested in Winlock Monday after a brief standoff with authorities.
