Yakima Valley Fruit and Produce donated over $4,000 of fresh fruit and produce, including 89 18-pound boxes of cherries from the Yakima Valley growers, to the Centralia branch of the Salvation Army for distribution to local families.

By doing this, the company is fulfilling its mission to provide fresh, quality fruit and produce directly from the growers to the public, according to a company news release.

It has two sales locations, with one located in Centralia next to the Fords Prairie Animal Clinic on Old Highway 99 2509 Sandra Ave. and the other in Olympia at 10306 Martin Way E across from the Chevron gas station.
