A woman is facing felony charges for allegedly breaking into a Centralia apartment complex in February and stealing a coin machine.
Ermelinda Baldovinos, 40, of Randle, was charged April 30 with one count each of second-degree burglary and second-degree theft for allegedly stealing the coin machine out of the laundry room of an apartment complex on Harrison Avenue on Feb. 25, according to court documents.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows a woman, who has allegedly been identified as Baldovinos, and two unidentified masked men enter the apartment complex’s laundry room and remove the coin machine.
The machine is worth approximately $800 and contained roughly $200 at the time of the theft, according to court documents.
One of the tenants at the apartment complex reportedly identified Baldovinos as her sister and told investigators that Baldovinos “frequently comes over in the middle of the night unannounced and she does not approve of her doing so,” according to court documents.
Baldovinos was issued a summons notice on April 30 for a May 13 preliminary hearing in Lewis County Superior Court, which she was present for.
She was granted release on her own personal recognizance and has an arraignment hearing scheduled for Thursday, May 22.
