The Black Hills volleyball team dominated in Chehalis on Tuesday, sweeping W.F. West 25-15, 25-14, 25-8.
The win gets the Wolves back over .500 at 4-3, and they are now 3-1 in league play.
Ashley Harris and Claire Johnson led the way offensively, as Johnson had 10 kills and five aces, while Harris had 10 kills and two aces of her own while also adding eight digs.
Ellie Johnson wasn’t far behind with seven kills of her own. Lilly Kincaid tallied 22 assists, three digs and two aces. Annie Dale led the team defensively with 12 digs.
The Bearcats have now lost eight straight to open the season, and they have only won one set in those eight games.
Their search for win No. 1 will continue on Thursday when they host Mossyrock, while the Wolves will look to extend their winning streak to three when they host Centralia.
