The Winlock Dance Center was proud to participate in the Onalaska Apple Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 3, working with the Winlock High School/Middle School Cheer Program for a successful community performance, according to a news release from the dance center.

The collaborative team showcased their hard work and enthusiasm, earning first place in the Youth Division for their dance performance.

The Winlock High School/Middle School cheerleaders, coached by Stephanie Conesa, joined the dancers and brought plenty of extra pep and energy to the event, the news release stated. The cheerleaders were recognized with second place for Additional Pep.

This is not the first time Winlock Dance Center has had the opportunity to collaborate with the Winlock cheer program.

“We always enjoy having the opportunity to work with the Winlock cheerleaders,” Robin Brumley, owner of Winlock Dance Center, said in a news release. “It’s exciting to see our local kids supporting one another, performing together and representing our community. We are looking forward to many more opportunities to collaborate in the future.”

Winlock Dance Center said in the news release it would like to congratulate all of the dancers and cheerleaders who participated and thank the families, coaches and community members who continue to support local youth programs.
