W.F. West, Tumwater lead area contingent on EvCo teams

Of the 14 total players on the Evergreen Conference first team, the Bearcats and Thunderbirds combined for over half of the honorees released on Monday.

Shelton junior Hailey Schuffenhauer was named as the Most Valuable Player while Aberdeen senior and Grand Canyon recruit Lilly Camp earned the Most Valuable Pitcher award. Black Hills’ Mike Vessey and his staff was named as the Staff of the Year after leading the Wolves to the district tournament for the first time in nearly a decade.
