The W.F. West baseball team earned a season series win against Aberdeen on Wednesday, shutting out the Bobcats in a 6-0 win.

Connor Coleman pitched the first four and a third, allowing just three hits and striking out three, while Grady Westlund allowed two hits and struck out four over the final two and two-thirds.

The Bearcats gave Coleman some run support early in the game, scoring a run in the first inning, and they added three more in the fourth to give him some breathing room before adding one more in the fifth and sixth.

Coleman did more than enough to help himself at the plate, driving in two runs on three hits, including a double, in three trips to the plate, while Alex Staffoed, Beckman Dvorak, and Carlos Vallejo also drove in a run each.

The Bearcats will attempt to sweep the season series against the Bobcats when the two teams meet for the third and final time on May 8 in Aberdeen.

W.F. West (12-2, 7-1 2A EvCo) will head to Fort Borst Park on Friday to try and sweep the season series against Centralia.
