A former EvCo matchup went the distance in Rochester on Tuesday, as the Warriors took down W.F. West in five 25-14, 13-25, 25-22, 15-25, 15-5.
“We again saw some glimpses of how we can play,” Rochester coach Courtney Baird said. “We were still hot and cold, but there were times where we looked really good. We are still figuring out how to play together, but what I saw tonight makes me really excited for the rest of the season.”
Lexi Dupont finished with eight kills and four blocks, while Charlie Culp and Karmae Hines finished with four aces apiece and Jessanie Quarles led the defensive effort with 18 digs.
W.F. West (2-2) has now lost two in a row, but will look to bounce back at home against Montesano on Wednesday, while Rochester (2-2) will be at home again on Thursday to face Toledo.
