The Rochester High School boys basketball team suffered their first loss of the season, a 75-26 defeat at the hands of one of Class 2A’s best in Mark Morris on Tuesday night at home.
Just two points were scored by the Warriors (0-1) in the first quarter, but they turned it around briefly in the second with 10 points. Brayden O’Connor paced them with eight points and Colton Weiss added six.
“They fought all the way through,” Rochester first year head coach Caleb Sells said. “Mark Morris did a great job taking away our three-point opportunities. We would have had to play a perfect game.”
The Warriors will face a former EvCo opponent on Thursday when they travel to face Shelton.
