The Rochester football team dropped its second 2A EvCo showdown in as many weeks on Friday, losing 20-8 to Aberdeen at home.

The Warriors (4-3, 3-2 2A EvCo) ran for 206 yards as a team, led by 108 from Tate Quarnstrom, but fumbled the ball away four times, including once inside the Aberdeen 5-yard line and twice on the wrong side of the 50.

Behind Quarnstrom, Mason Armstrong had 84 rushing yards on 14 carries.

The Bobcats led 6-0 after a quarter of play and 14-8 after two, before getting the insurance they needed on one last score in the third quarter.

Rochester will wrap up league play next week against Tumwater.
