The Rochester girls golf team battled the rain and wind at Riverside on Thursday, but fell to Montesano 254-298.
Mallory Gilbert led the Warriors with a 72, and Adeline Neff was right behind her 73. Ava Baird shot a 75, Gabby Pietras shot a 78, and Brianna Portillo rounded out the Rochester scorecard with 81.
Montesano was led by Lessie Lalonde, who was the match medalist with a 54. Maggi Kupka also shot a 58, and the other three Bulldogs finished in the 70s.
The Warriors will now have a three-week break before their next match against Hoquiam at Riverside on Thursday, April 17.
