The Mossyrock girls basketball team got the better of Tenino on Monday, as the Vikings defeated the Beavers 50-31.
“I was happy with the effort and the execution at both ends,” Mossyrock coach Nick Rashoff said. “Everyone that got minutes tonight did good things.”
Mossyrock built a 12-point lead by the break, then doubled that advantage by the end of the third.
Kendall Cournyer scored a game-high 20 points, while Taylor Schwartz scored 12 and Maci Rashoff added nine.
Holly Thoren led Tenino with 12 points, Charley Jones scored eight, and Chloe Grayless logged seven.
Mossyrock will host Toutle Lake in a league matchup on Wednesday, while Tenino will return home to host Castle Rock in another non-league game on Thursday.
